A Christmas Mini session in April, you ask?  Not really.  I’m just playing catch up!

Patty had such a beautiful birthday celebration at the Silo, put on by her family who quite clearly thinks the world of her!  They put so much thought and work into every detail of this party.  Watching Patty interact with her friends and family, I could see clearly that she was proud of all the people in her life.  I hope that I have that many meaningful relationships when I’m Patty’s age!

Just go ahead and get yourself a cup of coffee and turn on some itunes, you’re gonna be here for awhile.  You might remember Erin & Tyson from their Storybook engagement session a little while back.  Well this past weekend, they sealed the deal in Durant, OK at a most beautiful, amazing, stunning, gorgeous wedding.  (If I could have thought of any other ways to say “pretty” in that sentence, I would’ve used them!)  When I walked into the venue area, my jaw dropped.  This is one of the times when I feel like I’d be lying if I didn’t say it…the pictures just don’t do it justice!  But that doesn’t mean I won’t try!

I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again-  I get to work with the most wonderful people!  Stephanie & George are such genuine and kind people, I consider it an honor that they asked me to photograph their wedding day.

 I loved seeing this couple together- they were so comfortable together and kind towards each other.  

The little moments like this one, are so sweet, when you can see how proud this father is.  He had the biggest smile on his face all night!

 Greyson’s kind of a rockstar around here.  Let’s see, he made his first appearance in mommy’s tummy, and then came his newborn portraits, 6 month pictures, 9 month pictures and now finally his first birthday party.  Greyson’s mommy and grandmother did an AMAZING job with every single detail of his party!  I wish I could show you every picture right here on the blog, but you’ll have to check back in client proofing later to see the rest of the party!

 Luke and I were lucky enough to be the photographers on their big day.  And what a BIG day it was!  They put so much care and effort into the decor of this wedding, it was absolutely stunning!  It was a Christmas Winter Wonderland!

So almost 4 months later, when Samantha & Jon probably already have their wedding pictures in frames and albums, I’m finally getting around to saying…congrats you two!  It was such a pleasure to work with you!

That being said…Annie & Beau finally took the plunge last weekend at Bridle Creek and WOWIE ZOWIE was it beautiful!  (Whoa, did I really just say “wowie zowie”?!)  Beau & Annie are such genuinely kind people; I’m so glad that I met them!  You might remember them from their Storybook engagement session earlier this year- Annie’s got an unforgettable smile!   Anyway, back to the wedding:  the couple decided to see each other before the ceremony to get all their pictures done (good choice!) while we still had daylight.
