Chris & Laura’s Storybook Engagement {tulsa photographers}

www.StorybookWeddings.org A few weekends ago, when we were supposed to have that record-breaking storm, we ended up with some great weather for portraits. I met Chris & Laura just in the nick of time before it began raining that night- we didn’t make it to each of the stops we had planned, but we DID get some great pictures! I love how the moments before rain somehow changes the way we see colors, and the darks are extra rich.
The next morning, Laura and I set out for her bridal session and we had so much fun! I can’t wait to show you a preview of those. Soon they’ll be married and I’ll be able to post!
Chris & Laura- I’m SOOO looking forward to the big day, it’s going to be beautiful!

What an adorable couple! And after having spent time with them, I can say honestly that they are beautiful on the inside, too. I’m so glad they chose Storybook, otherwise I might never have met them!

Did you ever meet someone briefly and think to yourself ”I like them!” and you can’t even put your finger on why? Well, that’s exactly what it was like to meet Danny and Emily. I only spent a short amount of time with them, so it’s not like I know their life history, all I can say is that I like them! And I’m absolutely looking forward to their wedding day! Which just happens to fall on my very own 12 year anniversary!

Congratulations, you two!

Since I’m on a one-word kick, I’ll try it with this couple, too. So my one-word description of Josh & Melanie as a couple would be “respect”. Seeing the way that they treat each other, the patience they have with one another and how much Josh adores her…well, you just know they’ve got something special.

Usually I don’t think about how old I am when I get to a shoot, but I can remember Nathan when he was a little kid and somehow that makes me feel old. Okay, okay, I’ll quit complaining now and get on with the pictures!

Nathan & Candace met at a race, and Nathan also proposed to Candace at The Cowtown Half Marathon.

Candace, it was so nice to meet you- you’re absolutely stunning!
