Beau & Annie’s Storybook Wedding {tulsa photographers}

Before I begin, I just want to say that this will be my last blog post for at least 3 weeks, probably longer. This is an incredibly busy season, so in order to keep my head above water, I’m going to set the blog posts aside until I can get caught up.

That being said…Annie & Beau finally took the plunge last weekend at Bridle Creek and WOWIE ZOWIE was it beautiful! (Whoa, did I really just say “wowie zowie”?!) Beau & Annie are such genuinely kind people; I’m so glad that I met them! You might remember them from their Storybook engagement session earlier this year- Annie’s got an unforgettable smile! Anyway, back to the wedding: the couple decided to see each other before the ceremony to get all their pictures done (good choice!) while we still had daylight.

Congratulations, Beau & Annie! We wish you all the very best!

Gabe & Cherish’s Storybook Wedding {tulsa photographers}

www.StorybookWeddings.org This is my favorite time of year for weddings because nearly every wedding is outdoors. It doesn’t get more beautiful than an outdoor wedding in the early evening, it’s just perfect! And in addition, Gabe & Cherish chose Harwelden for the Big Day; also one of my personal faves. So basically what I’m trying to say is…gorgeous!
Cherish & Gabe are one of those couples who I don’t have to know very well to see that they truly love each other- they’re kind to one another, they are genuine, they smile at each other, they’re patient and gentle with each other…the list goes on.
The other thing I need to mention about Gabe & Cherish is that they got married on our 12 year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been 12 years since I walked down the aisle! (I wish my wedding was as beautiful as THIS one!) Congrats, Gabe & Cherish! Thank you so much for having Storybook there to be a part of your day!

Doug & Ashley’s Storybook Engagement {tulsa photographers}

Doug & Ashley were so much fun to work with, and such genuine people; I love it when I get to meet people like them!

They brought their two dogs with them, who are both very aged and fragile, and both Ashley & Doug were so caring and gentle with their dogs, it was really something sweet to see.

Jon & Samantha’s Storybook Engagement Session {tulsa photographers}

Usually, I write something nice about the couple, AS a couple. And believe me, this couple is very deserving of some sort of witty compliment, but I just have to get straight to my point…Samantha is gorgeous. I mean, really. Look at her eyes!

So then….we’re minding our own business, and Drunky McDrunkerson meanders over and insists that he be in one of the photos with the couple. Jon & Samantha agreed, and DM was happier than sunshine to have his picture taken. This was a first. For all four of us, I think! You can see the “please hurry!!!” in Samantha’s smile!

Congrats, Jon & Samantha! I truly enjoyed working with you!

Okay, you didn’t REALLY think that I’d blog just one word did you? When I say “beautiful”, I mean EVERY detail was well-planned and just right. Location: beautiful. Make-up: flawless. Flowers: gorgeous. Dresses: elegant. Tuxes: handsome. Flowergirl & Ringbearer: too cute for words. Food: de-friggin’-licious. DJ: excellent. Cake: amazing. Bride & Groom: totally in love. What more could you want?

Lucky for me, I never have to do this, but IF I had to come up with just one word to describe this couple it would be “fun”. They like to have fun! That smile that you see on Heather’s face never faded during their session. This is one very happy couple!

Andrew & Lindsay announced to me, almost right away “We like to laugh!” I like that they said that. I’ve laughed and I’ve not laughed and laughing is better.

Hannah & Mike are probably those people who end up getting things for free everywhere they go just for being so good looking. I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Well, no, I mean they ARE good looking, but…oh nevermind, you KNOW what I mean! Anyway, they’re getting married so we went out last weekend to get some engagement pictures for them.
