www.StorybookWeddings.org Remember Chris & Laura? You might have just seen them in a recent post about their Storybook engagement session, or maybe the last post about Laura’s bridals. I’ve definitely had the chance to get to know this couple over the last month, and yet again, they prove that Storybook brides are the best! I’ve decided not to embarress myself with the details of the fiasco of getting to Laura’s wedding, which may or may not include a desperate moment of using my teeth to open a gas can.
Fast forward: Laura & Chris chose to see each other before the ceremony in order to get the pictures out of the way. I’m a big fan of this, as it seems to set an easy going tone for the remainder of the wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful; they chose Dresser Mansion for the occasion, you can’t go wrong there! I met Jason & Maris last year when I shot their engagement portraits. I probably blabbed in that post about how cool they are. I’m not sure I can refrain from doing so again, either. It’s just that…well, they’re so COOL! Maris is tall, thin & gorgeous and…well, her name is Maris, I mean come on! She is, thus far in my life, the ONLY Maris that I know, which is automatic cool points. And then Jason is the drummer who can somehow pull off the full arm of tattoos and still be uber sweet to his pregnant wife.
