I called them last Friday evening and said “The weather’s great!  You wanna do your family pictures tonight?”  And they were ready in 75 minutes.  A family of four!  I couldn’t get MYSELF ready for family pictures in 75 minutes, muchless 2 children and a husband!  Hope, as usual, you are amazing. Here are a few of my personal favorites from their session…

Motherhood is filled with so many bittersweet moments.  I love to see his smile, and I love that he can have a conversation with me about things like what ingredients are in pancakes, and of course I’m overwhelmed with pride when I hear him reading words (after all, he just turned 4!), and it’s so satisfying when I see him make a good decision all on his own…and yet…I miss the newborn moments that I was too tired to enjoy, I can barely remember his 6-month-old giggle, and oh how I long for the days when he didn’t challenge me!  Like I said, it’s all bittersweet.  Anyway, my little boy turned 4 over the winter and we finally got around to his pictures this past week.
