(Technically, I’ve been back for 2 weeks now. But it makes a great [read: cheesy] pun since this cutie’s name is Jett). Jett’s kind of a rockstar around here, and you might remember him or his older rockstar brother from here or here. I can’t believe how big he’s getting!

Steven & LaRinda are celebrating their first year of marriage together and they’ve decided that a great way to celebrate each year will be with anniversary pictures. I love that! Just imagine when they’re 75 and they have such a great way to look back over their years together and appreciate each line and wrinkle in the others’ face. I just love it! I’m a sucker for love!
Hunter is that little boy who you fully expect to pull a frog out of his pocket. And Hunter’s mom is that mom who wouldn’t even be phased by said frog. And Hunter’s dad is that dad who taught him that frogs belong in your pocket. Once again, meet Hunter:
I was trying to think of a perfect whitty title that would sum up Greyson’s story, but I didn’t come up with one. Neither will I go into the whole story of how I was lucky enough to be photographing Greyson earlier today. I’ll just say this: Greyson almost didn’t make it. But his mommy & daddy (and a huge team of supporters) serve an awesome God and their prayers for Greyson were answered. After 22 days in the NICU, Greyson is home with his mommy and daddy and is a daily reminder to us that God is truly good.
Here are just a few of my favorites from Greyson’s session today…
Pardon my old person phrase for just a moment, but this little girl was “as smart as a whip!” (Just exactly how smart IS a whip?) You’d never believe that she just turned 3! It took her a few minutes to warm up to me, but once she did she was so much fun! Ah, to be 3 again.
Tish has the most adorable baby belly! And poor Tish, I could tell she was uncomfortable, but she did everything I asked to do! Such a trooper! And Daniel was so good to her- he always opened up the car door for her and was patient with her. I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of their family!
