Sometimes my “work” is really fun! One day last month, I drove to Sparks, OK and followed the kids around at the Assemblies of God camp. I even got to eat some camp food!

Oh Little Garrett! The day I showed up in Stillwater for Garrett’s newborn portraits, he was feeling a lot like this:
Now, he didn’t keep this up the whole time. He was satisfied if both mom and dad exerted all their efforts into comforting him, which looked a little like this:
So after I had exhausted all my ideas for newborn poses in mom & dad’s arms…
…we just waited for him to wear out. And eventually he did! For a little while, anyway. Garrett is officially THE cutest turtle I have ever seen. 
Garrett also happens to be hands-down the most adorable volunteer fire fighter that I’ve ever seen. 
What a cutie patootie!
